Beyond Clusters... Alternative Growth Paths for Economic Development

As economic clusters have attracted criticism for being oversold as a basis for economic development strategy, the Appalachian Regional Commission has published "Sources of Economic Growth", which presents an alternative approach for regional growth. This new series of reports, led by the Economic Development Research Group, discusses how communities and regions can choose to pursue different "growth paths" to successfully achieve economic development.
